The installation makes itself in six main stages:
- Launching of the installation (initialization, choice of the language and of
the installation directory) with the Setup utility.
- Installation of the software AsTEX in the chosen directory, with the option
[N] iNitialiser.
- Choice of the Installation parameters and installation of other software
with the option [I] Installer/désinst (Install/uninst..
- Creation of the icons of the distribution and adaptation of the file
autoexec.bat with the option [T] Terminer (Finish).
- Installation of assistant AsTEX (Windows 9x/NT only).
- Installation of other software specific to Windows 9x/NT, if you are not in Plug
& Play mode (for example if you downloaded the distribution).
After the last stage, the machine must be reset so that the new parameters are taken
in account. The different stages are described in more detail below.
