Once the software AsTEX is installed, you are brought back to the main installation
menu.
- Type on Enter (or click on the option [I] Installer / désinst). It displays
the menu that permits to choose the installation parameters, and to select
and to install the software of the distribution that don't have their own
installation program (for the other, cf. sec. 6.3).
- Type on Enter (or click on the option [I] Printers) to choose the printer
that you want to use. If it doesn't appear in the list, choose the printer of
the list that comes closer to it. The main criteria is the resolution (in dots
per inch).
- Verify that all parameters are correct. If the operating system has not
been detected correctly, click on the option [E] Syst. d'exploitation
(Operating system then on the name of the Operationg system that
you use (DOS, Win3.x/9x/NT or OS/2).
- Type on Enter (or click on the option [C] Continuer (Continue)).
The question
Commencer l'installation de PaqBase (O/N) (Begin
installation of PaqBase (Y/N)) shows off. Check for the last time
that all parameters suit your needs.
- Type
O to launch the installation of the distribution (or N not to install
anything and to come back to the menu).
You can interrupt the installation at any time by typing Ctrl C. To resume it, type
install from the main directory of AsTEX (cf. section 4.7). By default, this directory
is:
