The Plug & Play mode can be used with any general type of installation
(Exec-CD, Voir/Impr (View/Print) etc.). It permits to launch or to load
from the CD-ROM all programs or files that have not been installed on
your hard disk. It also works with a network disk with read-only access
(cf. sec. 3.1.3).
You can commute at any time from the Plug & Play mode to the normal mode
and vice versa. When the Plug & Play mode is activated, the distribution must be
used from the AsTeX folder 3.1 Plug_&_Play. When it is deactivated, the distribution
must be used from the folder AsTeX 3.1.
- To deactivate the Plug & Play mode, click on the icon Installation
AsTeX and select successively the options [D] Disks, [M] Modify and
[R] CD-ROM. Enter the name of a non-existent CD drive, save it with
[D] Save then come back to the installation main menu with [Q] Quit.
Reset your PC so that the new parameters are taken in account. If the
AsTeX 3.1 folder has not already been created, launch the option [T]
Terminer (Finish) to create it, before resetting (cf. sec. 3.6).
