If you had already installed a previous version of the assistant, the new version has not been installed. You must uninstall it from the dialog box Addition / Suppression de programmes (Adding / removing Programs of the configuration panel of Windows 9x/NT, then reinstall it (cf. the documentation of Windows or the assistant's manual, for more precisions).
To reinstall assistant AsTEX, click on the icon Installation Assistant in the
folder AsTeX 3.1. The installation is made automatically in the subdirectory assist
of the main directory of AsTEX (defined by ASTEXDIR).
