2.1 Environment variables 

• If you work under DOS  : your file config.sys must contain a line of the kind:

  shell=c:\command.com /e:3072 /p

  otherwise add it then restart your system. If your programs already use some environment variables, you should take a bigger value maybe than 3072 bytes.
• If you work under Windows 3.x, your file \windows\system.ini must contain the line:

  CommandEnvSize=3072

  in the section [NonWindowsApp]. You must add it by hand under editor, or launch the utility iniwin.exe (directory ast\astex\init of the CD-ROM), then click on the button CmdEnvSize of the dialog box AsTeX - Initializations  :
• If you work under OS/2, your file config.sys must contain a line of the kind:

  shell=c:\os2\mdos\command.com c:\os2\mdos /e:3072 /p

  otherwise add it then restart your system.
