5.1 Searching of a word in a document 

• Click on the button Man Util Ros of the toolbar of assistant Rosetta. The table of contents of the multi-files html version of the manual is displayed in your default web browser. When clicking on the flowers under the title¹ (cf.  Fig. 5.1), a mono-file version of the manual is displayed, adapted to searching of word in the totality of the manual. The search of a chain with accentuated characters functions with the chain itself (for example, to find all occurences of the word << fenêtre>> in the manual, one can look for fenêtre).

• Click on the button Man Util Ros A4 of the toolbar. The table of contents of the manual is displayed in navigator AsTeX.
  1.  When one selects Acrobat Reader in the pull down list of navigator AsTeX (Fig. 3.2) to display the manual, the search of a chain with accentuated characters can be done by searching for the chain without the accents (for example, to find << fenêtre>>, it is necessary to look for fenetre but not fenêtre).
  2.  When one selects Gsview in the pull down list to display the ps or pdf version of the manual, the search of a chain with accentuated characters doesn't work (for example, searching fenêtre and fenetre doesn't work, it is necessary to look for fen or, better, fen preceded by a blank space). Note that the choice of the chain is critical: it would be also possible to search for tre, but one would get a lot more bad answers because the chain tre is a lot more frequent in French and because one could not make any search on tre followed by a blank space, otherwise words in the plural or followed by a punctuation sign could be missed.
  3.  When one selects Dview to display the dvi version² , it is necessary to proceed as with Gsview.
