Call for papers

The 28^th Symposium on Money, Banking and Finance organised by the C.N.R.S. Research Group on « Monetary and Financial Economics » will be held at the University of Reading, on the 23^rd and 24^th of June 2011. Papers submitted may be in any of the following areas related to:

1. Monetary policy 
2. Fiscal policy and monetary policy, Pensions
3. Monetary Theory, Prices and Money demand
4. Banking risk and stability, prudential regulations
5. Banking competition, mergers and costs, Interest rates
6. Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance
7. Credit, asset prices and economic cycles
8. Financial systems, Micro Finance, Growth and economic development
9. Exchange rate regimes and monetary policy
10. Exchange rate, trade and capital flows
11. The International monetary system and financial crisis
12. Market finance, behavioural finance, Portfolio Management, Funds, Insurance markets
13. Monetary and financial history

Completed papers in English or French and an abstract may be submitted electronically from the 1^st of December 2010 to the 15^th of February 2011 (in a .pdf or .doc format):

Only one theme out the list indicated above is to be selected. Papers presented under any other format will be disregarded.

The selection committee, coordinated by Raphaëlle Bellando and Jean-Bernard Chatelain (GDRE Co-Directors) and Nigar Hashimzade and Alexander Mihailov  (local committee) will convey the final decision to the authors by email in mid-April.
