Research topics

My research activities fall within the framework of plant physiology at the molecular level. They are to provide technical support as part of the study of the relationship between developmental plasticity and plant response following changes in their environment and epigenetic control by means of DNA methylation. My work includes obtaining (in vitro culture) and preparation of plant material, treatments and physiological measures, methods in biochemistry (enzymatic activity, biomolecular assays, HPLC, methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP)) and Methods in Molecular Biology (bacteriology, electrophoresis, Western blot and PCR). It also includes the development of protocols, the performance of certain experiments, the training of new entrants (trainees, PhD students) certain technical, operation and data analysis.
Currently I am involved in the work on the impact of an impairment of DNA methylation on adaptation to drought Poplar (innovative project INRA 2015). I also collaborate with INRA in a project seeking academic initiative "IMTEMPERIES" on the somatic embryo pine.
