About the University Library

The library’s collections are composed of books and reviews that are useful for the various areas taught at the Châteauroux CES: law, economics and management, geography, history and languages. The Research space hosts more specialised books on geography, social sciences and a local heritage fund useful for all subjects. 

All information concerning the rules and services of the library are available on the website of the libraries of the University of Orléans. 

 

Collections

7101 books, specialised periodicals and the access to digital resources (electronic books, online databases and reviews) via the website of the UO’s libraries.

 

Services

8 computer stations with Internet and Intranet consultations. 

WIFI / 1 photocopier available, to use with the student card.

 

Catalogue

Documentary research is made via the UO libraries’ website, the portal of the Joint Documentation Service (SCD) of the University of Orléans.

This documentary catalogue gathers the 20 libraries of the UO’s network, including the one of the Châteauroux CES.

 

Loan

Access to the library and document consultation on-site are free of charge.

Home borrowing, use of the interlibrary loan service and computerised document searches are subject to library registration.
