Admission procedure

  •     Enrolment in the COST (Collegium Sciences et Techniques [Science and Technology] in July through science portals.
  •     From second year of a bachelor's degree onward, to get into the bachelor's programme or switch to another university, please contact the office for the validation of personal knowledge or for the transfer form:

admission-osuc@univ-orleans.fr.

M1 (first year of master's programme) requirements:
 

Due to the educational conditions, in order to be admitted into a master's programme, you are required to submit an application form and to hold a French bachelor's degree in:

For Sciences de la terre et des Planètes- Environnement (STPE) [Earth and Planetary Sciences – Environment]:

- Earth and Space sciences

- Geoscience and environment

- General biology and Earth Sciences

For Risques & Environnement (RE) [Risks & Environment]:

- Chemistry

- Physics/Chemistry

or any other degree considered equivalent.

  • Applying for a master's degree:

Students who wish to apply can register on the following website (starting from 15 March 2020): https://ecandidat.univ-orleans.fr and fill in their educational background.

Then, starting from 1 May 2020 you simply have to apply for your chosen programme.


There is only one application campaign for the academic year 2019-20:


- server open from: 1 May to 8 June 2020 (warning: fixed dates)


- admission committee (results published): last week of June
 

Warning: you will apply online, but after applying you will have to send a paper file with the required supporting documents by regular mail. Only complete files arrived on time will be examined. It is up to you to carefully follow the website's instructions.

You will be able to follow the handling of your file through the e-candidat application at any moment. In case of problem with your file, an e-mail will be automatically generated.

  • For foreign students who hold foreign degrees:

For applicants living in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France, you do not need to fill in a form on e-candidat. For other foreign countries that do not have access to it, applications are to be submitted on the e-candidat platform.

M2 (second year of master's programme) requirements:

The Master's programme was created according to an educational plan spread over two years. However, it is possible to apply if you have already successfully completed a first year of master's programme in the corresponding field.
