Industrial Projects by Engineering Students

The engineering training at Polytech Orléans allows developing autonomy as a skill by carrying out several projects throughout the curriculum.

These projects, which essentially have a technological character, can be part of an agreement between the school (management, engineering student, supervising teacher) and the company.

Projects of the engineering curriculum

During the 3rd year (1st year of the engineering curriculum): realizing a technical file for a 2-week duration.

During the 4th year (2nd year of the engineering curriculum): 1 or 2 projects (leading to a digital experimentation or simulation to study an industrial system) for a 6-week duration.

During the 5th year (3rd year of the engineering curriculum): end-of-studies project (innovative topic validated by the educational team) for an 8-week duration.

Forum of the 5th year projects

Each year Polytech Orléans organises the end-of-studies forum for the school. It is the occasion for selected engineering students (19 projects held among more than 100 carried out), to highlight the skills acquired in the framework of the school and personal talents. Beyond the prices given, it is for all the opportunity to show their work and to benefit from advice from the jury which is made of more than 60 professionals. It is also an essential element to raise awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship.
