Application for the Ibni Prize 2018

The candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences obtained after January 1, 2013. They must reside in one of the countries listed below at the time of application.

There is no age limit for the candidates. Applications from women are particularly welcome.

This is a two-step procedure. Candidates send first a preliminary application form. The selection committee establishes a short list. Then the selected candidates will be asked to provide complementary documents.

The preliminary application form consists of:

  • A curriculum vitae stating clearly the date and the place of the Ph.D.'s defence, the location of the residence and, if the applicant is employed, the nature of her/his present job.
  • A list of publications.
  • A short scientific project (at most one page long) foreseeing the use of the amount of the Prize (3000 euros). A supplementary amount of 1000 may be allocated by the  CIMPA if a travel (south-north, north-south, south-south) of the applicant or of one of her/his collaborator is part of the project.

These documents must be sent by email before March 30, 2018 to:

  • Jean Renault (email: jean.renault [at] univ-orleans.fr) and Aline Bonami (email: aline.bonami [at] univ-orleans.fr)

The results of the Ibni Prize will be announced on or before June 30, 2018.
