Résumé :
Pulsed power is an interdisciplinary technology, which is based on electrical engineering (high voltage and power electronics), electrical physics and pulsed discharge. It can provides extreme high electric field, high magnetic field and high electromagnetic wave which are used for driving to generate different electrical physics effect.
In this report, professor Liu will describe a kind of solid-state pulsed power modulator based on semiconductor switches and power electronics topology circuit. It can produce arbitrary high voltage pulse waveform which is useful for plasma discharge control. As an example, KrCl excimer UV lamp is driven by a solid-state pulsed power modulation. It demonstrated that the radiant power of KrCl excimer UV lamp and system efficiency was improved compared with sinusoidal power supply dedicated for UV lamps.
