 Challenge Structure

  1. December 9: Training and testing cases will be made available to all challenge participants by email upon signature of an agreement. This consists of 116 subjects, half of which from osteoporotic patients (with fracture) and the other half from control subjects. The images are 16-bit TIFF format (size 400x400 pixels).
  2. February 16: Deadline for submitting the classification results of the first 116 subjects.
  3. February 19: Challenge participants, who submitted their results, will receive 58 new test images for blind classification.
  4. March 2: Deadline for submitting the final classification results of the 58 test images as well as an extended abstract (2 pages maximum) explaining the methodology used.
  5. March 10: Notification of the results.
  6. April 28: The 2014 TCB-ISBI Challenge will be held at the ISBI annual meeting in Beijing (China) during a half day session (28 April – 2 May, 2014).
