Instructions for Authors
HLPP2001: International Workshop on
High-level Parallel Programming and Applications
26-27 March 2001,
Université d'Orléans, France
Château de la Source
Final versions of papers, in PostScript, should be emailed to
Quentin Miller
no later than Friday 2 March.
Papers must use this standard format, and must not exceed 16 pages
(including references).
Authors using LaTeX should use
this style file and
this example paper.
Compile and print the latter; it contains important instructions (as
well as serving as a useful template for your paper).
Authors not using LaTeX should refer to
this PostScript paper
and follow all the instructions.
Please note the following details:
-
Use American rather than British spellings
(e.g. "synchronize" rather than "synchronise").
-
Capitalize the names of sections, figures, etc.
in the body of the text
(e.g. "in Fig. 1" and "in Section 2", rather than
"in fig. 1" and "in section 2").
-
Put citations before punctuation marks
(e.g. "as reported elsewhere [4]." rather
than "as reported elsewhere. [4]").
-
Do not change any formatting details such as page
dimensions, type sizes, or baselineskips in order
to fit more text into the 16-page limit.
If you have any questions, please contact
Quentin Miller or
Gaetan Hains
and we'll be happy to help.
Don't forget to register -- the closing date is Friday 9 March.
See
this page for instructions.
