L'Apprentissage Statistique est un domaine de recherche très actif au
carrefour de la Statistique et de l'Informatique décisionnelle.
Les conférences, qui auront lieu à l'Amphi S, Faculté des
Sciences, à partir de 10h, sont destinées aux mathématiciens et
aux informaticiens, et
porteront sur des thèmes novateurs et/ou prometteurs.

This seminar as the backing of the mathematics lab MAPMO and computer science lab LIFO:
Orléans is located 120km south of Paris/1 hour by train.
Some trains go directly to Orléans-center
for the others you'll have to get off at ``Les Aubrais-Orléans'' and then
to take a small shuttle-train that takes you to the center in about 5 minutes
(usually on the same plateform).
However, if you're going directly from the railway station to the university
you should take the tramway from ``Les Aubrais-Orléans'' (just outside the station).
Check the SNCF-web site for schedules.
Tram line A goes
regularly from the railway station ``Les Aubrais-Orléans''
to the university through the other railway station (``Orléans'') and the city center
(35 minutes trip).
Get down at Université Parc Floral,
the math department is about 50m from there.
