To reach those hotels from Gares d'Orléans
For the Jackotel and le Sauvage, take the bus n° 4 or 8 at the bus terminal at the
exit of the railway station and get out at the "St-EUVERTE" stop. Walk to the
Square Charles Péguy (some 50m)
and turn right on Rue de Bourgogne.
You will find the hotel le Sauvage on your left, more or less 200m to the entrance of
rue de Bourgogne. To go to Jackotel, take rue de l'Oriflamme on your left
just after Hôtel Le Sauvage. You will arrive at
Cloître
St Aignan. The Jackotel is on your left. It is also a 15 minutes walk from Gares d'Orléans.
L'Abeille and the Grand Hotel are a 5 minutes walk from the station.
If your train stops at gare des Aubrais : take the shuttle (that usually waits across the platform)
to go to Gares d'Orléans, or take tram A towards "La Source".
To go from the hotels to MAPMO
By bus:
Go to the stop PONT BOURGOGNE, Rue
du Faubourg Bourgogne, on the other side of Square Charles
Péguy (the stop is in front of the Post Office) and take bus number
20 towards Orléans-La Source. The stop for MAPMO is called Parc Floral.
(ca 20 minutes, but the bus is not very frequent).
By tramway:
Go downtown to take tram A direction La Source. The stop for MAPMO is called
UNIVERSITE PARC FLORAL. (ca 25 min).
