Application and tariffs


Before to apply, requirements are necessary to follow classes during the semester or the full year :

  • Holding a diploma equivalent to the French "Baccalaureat"/secondary school diploma,
  • No beginner level
    • 1st semester : providing a certification A1 level minimum (TCF, DELF or DALF)
    • 2nd semester : providing a certification A2 level minimum (TCF, DELF or DALF)
  • Mother tongue or schooling language is different from French.

Particular cases :

  1. For applicant from an exchange program (agreement between the University of Orleans and your home university), please contact directly the international relations office of your university. You should register through the Campus France website.
  2. For applicant from countries using the CEF (Centre pour les études en France), please fill out the application form and register through the Campus France website.

Countries using the campus France procedure : Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, the Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, South Korea, Kuwait, Ivory Coast, Egypt, United States, Gabon, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mexico, Peru, RDC, Russia, Senegal, Singapur,Taiwan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.


2018/2019  Tariffs

  • Administrative fees : 170 euros
  • Diploma fees : 1 100 euros per semester
  • Contribution to student life and campus : 90 euros to pay before the administrative registration directly to the CROUS.

Single payment for adminstrative and diploma fees at the administrative registration by cheque in euros, cash or bank card.

Conditions for cancellation

Your definitive registration takes place only at your arrival when you will pay the fees, after the assessment test. Until the payment, you can cancel your application to the French Institute. After the payment, no refund is possible.
