I am a contact case of a person tested positive

You must isolate yourself and follow the national procedure described on the following sheet.

Then refer to the next section "I am waiting for the result of a Covid-19".

I am waiting for the result of a Covid-19 test

You must isolate yourself and follow the national procedure described on the following sheets.

File

If the result is negative, you can return to your training :

  • after your recovery if you had symptoms
  • from the next day if you were a contact case.

To justify your absence, you will need a medical certificate. If you cannot obtain a medical certificate, you can request a waiver of attendance by attaching your negative test (choose the section "I would like a waiver of attendance").

The result of my Covid test is positive

You must imperatively declare yourself via the following form by choosing the heading "My Covid-19 test is positive" and by attaching your positive test and the names of the students at risk contact without mask that you have had in the 7 days preceding your test and specify the date.

The medical staff of the institution will receive this information and may contact you in the interest of your health and that of other students.

If you have a specific medical question, please contact one of our doctors at medecin-covid19-etudiant@univ-orleans.fr. Please clearly indicate your request in the subject line of the email.
Please note that as our health service is very busy, priority will be given to urgent questions. Please check that none of the above sections or the downloadable national fact sheets that appear in them answer your question.

I'm having trouble with my schooling because of Covid-19.

What should I do if I have to isolate myself because of Covid ?

Whether you are symptomatic, a contact case or a positive case, you should isolate yourself.

In this case, it is important to inform your training manager and your component school of your absence, who will specify with you the evaluation conditions in the event of an exam during your period of isolation.

  • If you have a medical certificate specifying your period of absence, you must send it to your school, especially if you are a scholarship holder.
  • If you do not have a medical certificate, you can obtain a waiver of attendance using the form. The request should be made at the end of your period of isolation, just before you return to class. The certificate will cover your absence from the beginning of the isolation period to the date authorised for your return.
