As of Monday 16th March 2020, like numerous other universities in the world, all French Universities are currently completely closed and we are working at distance.
Lectures and seminars are carried out by switching to virtual teaching / distance learning / home learning via digital channels.
The university has set up a crisis team that constantly monitors the current developments. Concerning the university's International affairs, a few members of the International Relations team are on duty working from home.
We are informing all our exchange students about the current situation and we keep them updated as more information comes in. Of course, we make every effort to ensure that students are not disadvantaged by the current situation. Incoming students have thus received instructions by e-mail and can contact the UO International Office at any time, should they need help or support at: firstname.lastname@example.org . Please note that an online form to submit questions regarding the management of Covid 19 will soon be available on our website .
As you may imagine, we will hardly be able to continue the application procedures which are currently under way in these conditions, that is the reason why we would be grateful if you could postpone the application deadlines for our 2020/2021 exchange students or at least accept to receive our applications after this crisis. Please note that our own application deadlines will be postponed as well.
Please also note that the 2 staff weeks that were planned in May (Going Global Successes & Challenges, May 5-7 and International Teacher Training Week, May 11-14) are postponed to a later date.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
