The Constraints and Machine Learning (CA) is a research team working on some specific aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is structured around 3 complementary axes: (i) Machine Learning and Data Mining (ii) Natural Language Processing and (iii) Constraints.

The recruited person will reinforce one or several themes of the team on axis (i) Machine Learning and Data Mining, in possible interactions with the other axes, on at least one of the following themes:

  • the classes of problems studied (supervised, unsupervised or semi-supervised classification, reinforcement learning, pattern mining, etc.),
  • the types of data (text data, temporal data, heterogeneous data, ...),
  • the explainability or the integration of knowledge into learning mechanisms,
  • Machine Learning and NLP,
  • Machine Learning and Constraints, declarative approaches (Constraint Programming, SAT, etc.) for Machine Learning and Data Mining.

The research themes of the recruited person should be consistent with the team themes, both from the theoretical and applicative perspectives.
