The CIAMS Laboratory: Complexity, Innovation, Sports and Motor Activities
About the laboratory
The CIAMS laboratory is a research unit (n°4532) headed by Prof. Michel-Ange AMORIM. The laboratory's main supervisory body is the Université Paris Sud, and its secondary supervisory body is the University of Orléans.
8 teacher-researchers from the Sport Sciences (STAPS) department of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Orléans are members of the CIAMS laboratory.
The research carried out at Orléans focuses on physical activity in healthy, sporty or sedentary subjects, as well as in those suffering from pathologies. The objects of study are aspects linked to health and performance, and are analyzed in the fields of physiology and psychology.
