Computer Science Programs at the University of Maribor

Séminaire organisé par Tomaz Kosar (Université de Maribor, Slovénie) le 20/10/2024.

Attention : Débute à 14 h 45.

Résumé :

Domain-specific languages (DSLs) feature simpler notation than general-purpose languages (GPLs) because their syntax is tailored to a specific problem domain. As a result, the alignment between the language and the problem domain should enhance programmers' efficiency and accuracy when using DSLs, compared to alternative solutions such as application libraries in GPLs. In a series of controlled experiments, we observed these differences and report on the findings.
