Résumé :

Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) and IoT are transforming e-health by enabling continuous remote patient monitoring. Yet, the limited energy of sensor nodes challenges service reliability and longevity. This work proposes an integrated approach to extend WBAN lifetime and efficiency through energy harvesting, intelligent resource allocation, and blockchain-based secure data management.

A dynamic time-resource allocation method, based on a Discrete Time Markov Chain (DTMC) model, estimates nodes’ energy budgets and prioritizes data transmissions. A game-theoretic mechanism using a First Price Sealed Bid Auction further optimizes slot allocation, reducing energy consumption while ensuring uninterrupted monitoring.

To secure and streamline medical data handling, a lightweight, sharded blockchain framework with Proof-of-Stake consensus and hybrid on-/off-chain processing is implemented. The system prioritizes urgent data, enables energy sharing, and supports real-time patient monitoring with enhanced efficiency.

This seminar will present simulation results demonstrating significant network lifetime extension, reduced packet loss, and the practical integration of blockchain in IoT-enabled e-health systems.
