Many programs allow you to gain experience in the field of education at a foreign institution as a recent graduate. Some offer paid language assistant positions, while others offer a scholarship for an educational internship.
France Éducation International
This operator of the French Ministry of Education offers more than 2,500 French teaching assistant positions each year in schools in one of the 20 countries participating in this program: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.
The stay can last from 7 to 11 months. Remuneration varies according to the country and host organization. The recruitment campaign is open from November to January.
Eligibility requirements:
- Having a student status on December 31 of the year preceding the mobility;
- Being of French or European nationality (depending on destination);
- Having completed your secondary education in a French school, in France or abroad;
- Being aged between 20 and 35 (each country is free to set its own age range);
- Holding the diploma required in the country profile at the time of application;
- Having a good knowledge of the language of the host country, minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

Amity Institute
Amity Institute is an American non-profit organization that organizes mobility programs for students, new graduates and teachers. Their assistantship program is aimed at French-speaking students and new graduates who wish to work in the education sector, as a French teaching assistant in a school or high school in the United States.
Fullbright
The Franco-American Fulbright Commission manages two programs for French teaching assistants at American universities: the Fulbright French Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program, which places 25 to 30 assistants at small universities in the United States, and the Carlet Levy-Despas grant, which places 1 French teaching assistant at Amherst College in Massachusetts.
