What does GPex offer and how can I apply?
The Graduate Program of Excellence at the Master’s level is a Minerve Excellence Pathway designed to promote training by and for Research, in the University of Orléans’ internationally recognized areas of excellence: health, multi-materials, geosciences, economics, linguistics, data science, artificial intelligence, physical activity and rehabilitation, space, cosmetics, geography, environment, and energy.

The Architecture of the Minerve Excellence Pathway (GPEx)
In addition to the Master’s disciplinary core, students will be able to select teaching units on demand from a catalog of courses offered in other Master’s programs, as well as courses specifically created by Minerve.
Another key feature of MINERVE is the use of a set of educational tools (the X-Labs) which support a learning approach centered on learning by doing through collaborative or individual research projects.

Students selected from the first year of the Master’s degree in the Excellence Minerve pathway (GPEx) will be able to:
- Build a flexible and personalized academic program
- Access interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and cross-disciplinary courses
- Benefit from continuous immersion in the world of research (in laboratories or companies)
- Participate in and contribute to research projects linked to key thematic fields of the University of Orléans
- benefit from excellence scholarships starting in the first year (M1)
- Be funded through a laboratory apprenticeship in the second year (M2)
- Obtain an additional University Diploma (DU)
- Discover and gain access to doctoral thesis opportunities
How to apply?Apply to the Minerve Excellence Pathway of the disciplinary Master’s program you have chosen via the Mon Master platform or Études en France. On Mon Master, applications will be open from February 17, 2026 to March 16, 2026. Applications are only open for the first year of the Master’s program. Selection will be based on the quality of the application and the applicant’s motivation for innovation. |
