The SAPRéM research federation is a structure gathering researchers who are developing research activities in the field of sport sciences, physical activity and rehabilitation. The SAPRéM federation is supported by two academic divisions : the Sport Sciences (STAPS) department of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the University School of Physiotherapy (EUK-CVL).
The SAPRéM federation was created at the beginning of 2023. Its goal is to bring out and develop research themes in the fields of sport and physical activity, rehabilitation and motor skills with a view to health and performance.
This federation is a transitory step for the future creation of the SAPRéM laboratory circa 2025.
The main scientific objective is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to human motor activity. The research carried out covers several disciplines: ergonomics, geography, management, physiology, psychology, rehabilitation sciences and sociology. The aim is also to understand the mechanisms and determinants of human adaptation to motor activity.
