“Vulnerability Situations” Area: In this research area, we focus on populations exposed to constraints related to their health status, to aging, or to their environment. These conditions may place them in a vulnerable situation, and our goal is to understand how physical activity or rehabilitation can be used to improve their health and well-being in these specific contexts. For individuals with pathologies and for the elderly, this involves examining the effects of motor activity on their physical capacity and psychological state, as well as on their quality of life and autonomy. In addition, we study the effects of exposing healthy individuals to constrained environments (such as confinement, isolation, altitude, etc.).
