The SAPRéM (Sport and Physical Activity, Rehabilitation and Motor skills with a view to health and performance) research laboratory is a Research Unit of the University of Orléans created in July 2025 within the framework of the Minerve France 2030 project. 

It currently gathers 17 teacher-researchers from various departments. SAPRéM's research focuses on motor functions in healthy individuals, both athletic and sedentary, and in elder individuals or individuals with a disability. It also is interested in individuals evolving in particular environments (extreme, deteriorated or needing a valorization).

SAPRéM's research projects stand out thanks to their multidisciplinary approach motor activity sciences (physiology and biomechanics), and in psychology, as well as applied research in the fields of sports, physical activty, rehabilitation, ergonomics and sport management. 

The SAPRéM laboratory is supported by two academic divisions of the University of Orléans : the Sport Sciences (STAPS) department of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the University School of Physiotherapy (EUK-CVL).
