The University, represented by its President, the Heads of its Colleges, and its General Services Manager, has set some concrete measures in a plan for energy sobriety, with the primary objective of reducing the costs of the institution's energy bill so that it does not affect its operation. This large-scale operation is part of a process to mobilise all the University’s players, both to reduce expenditure and to encourage energy sobriety, which is essential in an open approach to sustainable development.
Such a major operation is part of a sustainable approach and will only be achieved through the responsibility and rallying of all players. Each and everyone’s involvement for an energy temperance will not only have a direct impact on expenditures, but will also be consistent with the efforts required at national level.
