GREMI 1.5

The GREMI is a member of the Labos1point5 initiative, an international, interdisciplinary collective of academic researchers who share a common aspiration: to better understand and reduce the environmental impact of research, particularly on the Earth's climate.
 

The gremi1.5 committee has 3 main objectives:

• Raise awareness of 21st-century climate issues among laboratory staff
• Draw up a greenhouse gas emissions balance sheet (BGES) for the laboratory 
• Take action to reduce the carbon footprint of the laboratory's activities.

The environmental aspect of equipment purchases, mobility and the implementation of good energy-saving practices are some of the main actions implemented.
