Procedures and requirements to apply in DUEF

Application and prerequisites

  1. hold a diploma equivalent to the baccalauréat level
  2. have a mother tongue or schooling language other than French.

Priority will be given to applicants who are starting or continuing their studies. Applications will be assessed on the basis of each candidate's individual project. Particular cases:
  1. For applicants wishing to come under an exchange scheme (agreement between the University of Orléans and your home university), please contact your university's international relations department directly. You will have to go through the Campus France procedure.
  2. For applicants living in a country with a Centre for Studies in France (CEF), you must complete the application form and register on the Campus France website.

Deadline for applications

  • half-year 1 or year - 2024/2025 (from September 2024) 15 May 2024
  • half-year 2 - 2024/2025 (from January 2025) 15 October 2024

You will not be enrolled in the DUEF until your application has been studied and approved by the teaching committee.

 

Fees 2024/2025

  • Annual registration fee: 175 euros
  • Course fees: 1,300 euros per semester
  • Annual Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC): 103 euros to be paid directly to CROUS before registration.

Cancellation terms

Your final enrolment and payment of the enrolment fee will only take place once you have arrived at the IDF, after the placement test. As long as you have not paid the registration fee, you may cancel your application to the IDF. Once the registration fee has been paid, no refund will be given.
