Following on from my thesis work on the sociogenesis of love and sexual tastes, this research aims to understand the social forces behind the emergence of sexist and sexual violence (SGBV) in sport. The purpose is to examine the production of the mental patterns and (sexual) practices of the individuals who produce this violence, as well as those of the people who are subjected to it, while at the same time understanding the pathways and socializations of the individuals involved. For example, we'll be looking at the effects of SGBV on the careers of sportsmen and women.
