Here are some indications to come to the Orléans IUT :
Arriving by bike: see the map
Arriving using public transport
- By train (more information on the SNCF website)
Orléans is served by two stations, Orléans and Les Aubrais. Be careful which station your train stops at. In both cases, take the tramway line A in the direction of Hôpital-La Source to the “Université” stop. From here, it's a 5-minute walk to IUT'O, heading south-west (with the Château de la Source to your back).
- By tramway and by bus (more information on the TAO website)
- The nearest tramway stop to the IUT'O is on line A and is called “Université”;
- Bus lines 1 and 13 serve the IUT stop.
Arriving by car
The main roads are the RD2020 and the highways (A71 and A10).
From Paris:
- Head for Bordeaux (highway A10), then at Orléans branch off onto the highway A71 towards Clermont-Ferrand/Toulouse, then take the La Source/Olivet exit.
- After the toll booth, go straight on towards Orléans la Source. Go through the commercial zone and two traffic lights.
- Turn left at the third set of traffic lights, and IUT Orléans is immediately on your right.
