  • Addressing industrial and environmental issues: studying unsteady and/or turbulent shear flows, free or in the presence of walls
  • Sustainably improving the efficiency of aerodynamic systems (land or air transport, energy production): defining of control methods and strategies

Research themes

  1. From analysis of turbulent shear flows (boundary layer, wake, separation, etc.) to control (open-loop, closed-loop actuation) to improve aerodynamic performance.
  2. Environmental aerodynamics: Interactions between the atmosphere and the inhabited surface. Applications: Wind wakes and interactions, atmospheric dispersion on industrial and natural sites.

  • Active member of the GDR “Delamination Control” (directed by Azeddine Kourta) and of the GdR “Turbulence structure and mixing”.
