Development of tools and methods for the design and control of medical robotic systems

Development of tools and methods for the design and control of medical robotic systems.

To ensure the overall improvement of robotic applications, this development will focus on mechatronics, architecture and control.

Research themes:

  1.  Mechatronics design and interactions

    Development of motorized kinematic structures

Design approach, digital prototypes and devices

    Optimization: sizing, shapes, actuators, trajectories

    Serial and parallel robots

    Technology transfer, robot industrialization

  2. Micro and nano robotics

Modeling and control at micro or nano scales::

multiphysics modeling of nanorobot interactions (MRI, fluidics)

    Development of robust controllers
