Development of tools and methods for the design and control of medical robotic systems.
To ensure the overall improvement of robotic applications, this development will focus on mechatronics, architecture and control.
Research themes:
- Mechatronics design and interactions - Development of motorized kinematic structures - Design approach, digital prototypes and devices - Optimization: sizing, shapes, actuators, trajectories - Serial and parallel robots - Technology transfer, robot industrialization 
- Micro and nano robotics - Modeling and control at micro or nano scales:: - multiphysics modeling of nanorobot interactions (MRI, fluidics) - Development of robust controllers
