Since the start of the 2015 academic year, the Faculty of Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences has been offering a Franco-German curriculum, as part of the Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) degree.
The “European Languages, Communication and Business” training program is aimed at students wishing to follow a three-year European university course combining language study, theoretical teaching and professional practice, with a view to joining companies and organizations operating internationally, particularly in the Franco-German field.
This offer, which is unique in the Centre-Val de Loire region, enables students to obtain both a French diploma, the Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Foreign Languages (Licence LEA), and the German equivalent, the Bachelor Sprache und Kommunikation (SK), in just three years, i.e. without extending the duration of studies compared with a traditional curriculum.
Interested students must enroll in an Applied Foreign Languages degree with a German/English specialization, and then fill in an application file in November.
This program is organized within the framework of a partnership with the University of Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is supported by the Franco-German University (UFA), a structure created jointly by the French and German governments, which oversees a network of over 200 universities and Grandes Ecoles in both countries.
During their year of study in Germany (3rd year of Bachelor's degree), students benefit from mobility grants. More information on the financial aid page.
