Grande-Bretagne et Irlande

 

This course is dedicated to the relationship between Great Britain and Ireland. Different topics will be discussed, including the milestones in British-Irish History, the Union of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Irish civil war, Home Rule & Devolution, etc.
The students will be provided with primary and secondary sources in order to assess the mutual (cultural, political, economic, social…) influences between Great Britain & Ireland.
There will be a special focus on the conflict in Northern Ireland and its representation.
