Participative Research in Nursing Homes

Contenu de la page principale

This work is based on a cross-disciplinary approach to the activity of ageing people and the training of reflective professionals in nursing homes, using a situated and participative approach. The first step is to study the current legislative framework in order to identify the constraints weighing on the players. Then, the regulatory inventory will be confronted with situational and experiential data reflecting the activity of users and professionals, using observation techniques and individual or group interviews (explicitation, self-confrontation). By comparing these materials, we can identify the practices (daily life support, APA) and conditions that enable users to better orient, maintain and develop their activity.  This work is being carried out in collaboration with nursing homes in the Centre region and the Pothier Legal Researh Center (CRJP) at the University of Orléans.
