MEEF Masters for primary education, secondary education and Educational Supervising are both professional training courses and diploma training courses that also aim to bring you the required knowledge to pass competitive exams.
The MEEF Master for primary education course can take place on the 6 sites of the Orléans-Tours educational authority (Orléans, Tours, Blois, Bourges, Chartres, Châteauroux).
The MEEF Master with an Educational Supervising specialisation is taught on the Tours site only.
The MEEF Masters for secondary education depend on the Colleges teaching the concerned specialisation (mathematics, languages, sciences…).
All these training courses are taught during the day and in person with groups mixing both students and continuing education trainees. They can however, if needed, be taught remotely (in particular due to government measures linked to the health crisis).
These training courses require an on-site presence of about 20 hours a week (projected average).
Internships in schools will take place during the year, spread over 6 to 8 weeks on average per training year, at a rate of 27 hours per week on average depending on schools.
For professional training trainees registered in MEEF for secondary education, it is possible since the beginning of the year 2021 to integrate a “work-study contract” that will lead to a specific planning.
It is strongly advised, when possible, to carry out an observation internship in a school environment before entering the training in order to confirm your vocational choice.
For information only, the MEEF Masters reform is in effect since the beginning of the university year 2021.
