General Data Protection Regulation
In carrying out its public service duties, the University of Orléans is required to process certain personal data concerning its students and staff.
In order to ensure that these various processing operations are carried out in compliance with regulations governing personal data, the University of Orléans has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO's main tasks are to inform and advise the University, and to monitor the application of legal texts concerning personal data. He is also the point of contact between the University and the French National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL).
