Centre•Sciences

Regional Centre for the promotion of Scientific , Technical and Industrial Culture, Centre•Sciences aims to share sciences and techniques to all inhabitants of the Centre-Val de Loire region. The centre was certified “Science, Cultura dn Innovation” by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and was named a “Reference Territorial Hub” in terms of scientific, technical and industrial culture (CSTI). 

 


House for Science in the Centre-Val de Loire Region

The  House for Science in the Centre-Val de Loire Region opened its doors at the beginning of the academic year 2014 in Orléans. Its professional development offer is for all teachers in the Orléans-Tours regional education authority who teach sciences in primary schools, secondary schools and high schools. 

 


Radio Campus Orléans

"Ecoute ta fac" – before events - A show on how students can get involved and live their experience

"La Science infuse" on Mondays from 2pm to 3pm, a show dedicated to scientific popularisation. This show aims to make researchers speak about their research work, their projects and their publications.

MSH Val de Loire

The Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Val de Loire (MSH VdL) is a research and service unit of the CNRS (National Scientific Research Centre - UAR 3501) under the triple supervision of the CNRS, the University of Tours and the University of Orléans. It currently unites 22 laboratories located in Orléans and Tours, which represent all the research teams in humanities and social sciences of the Centre-Val de Loire region. 

 


Museum of Orléans for Biodiversity and Environment (MOBE)

The MOBE is a museum dedicated to natural heritage and scientific culture. As a centre for the conservation of natural heritage, it documents the fauna, flora and geology of the Centre-Val de Loire region and beyond. Its 435,000 specimens represent an endless source of information thanks to yesterday, today and tomorrow’s scientific studies. The MOBE offers the possibility to observe the world around us, to understand important scientific challenges, and to take a different look at science and at our environments while sharpening our critical thinking skills!
