The Shared Unit Research Europe (CMER) is an original structure created in 2007 by the Universities of Orléans and Tours, the CNRS in the Centre, Limousin and Poitou-Charente regions, and the INSA Centre-Val de Loire.

With the financial support of the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Council, it monitors the instruments of the Horizon Europe program, the European Commission's main funding tool for research and innovation.

MISSIONS

The shared team in charge of European affairs - with its collaborators from the APRI (University of Orléans) and SAIFE (CNRS) offices, offers custom support for all the stages of the lives of European projects:

  • Informing and training on the Horizon 2021-2027 program;
  • Monitoring calls for thematic projects and informing the laboratories concerned;
  • Strategy and support for the entire project: choice of call, search for partners, initiation of the process, writing advice, proofreading, budget calculation, etc;
  • Monitoring of ongoing projects throughout their life cycle (recruitment, amendments to agreements, etc.) and communication between the partners and departments involved;
  • Coordination of technical and financial progress reports.
