Doctoral Schools' Back-to-School Day
On November 14, the Department of Research and Doctoral Studies organized the Doctoral Schools' Back-to-School Day (Journée de Rentrée des Ecoles Doctorales - JRED) for doctoral students starting their thesis, to familiarize them with their new working and training environment.
With convivial moments to get to know each other, the program alternated between plenary sessions, educational meetings and workshops. Doctoral students also interacted with the university's services and partners, who set up booths in the IRD hall to present the many facilities and opportunities offered by the campus.
A not-to-be-missed event at the start of a thesis, the 2023 Back-to-School Day brought together around a hundred doctoral students, many of them from abroad.
