The "HR Excellence in Research" label
On 22 June 2020, the University of Orléans (UO) gained the "HR Excellence in Research" award.
The award acknowledges the progress made in aligning the UO’s human resources policies with the 40 principles of the European Charter & Code.
A world-oriented university
The University of Orleans is widely open to international students, with 14% of students of foreign nationality, and nearly 90 countries represented.
Every year, nearly 500 Orléans students go to study or do an internship in one of the 150 partner universities and companies located both in and outside Europe.
Teaching partnerships through double degrees, joint doctoral supervision, participation in international research programmes, and the hosting of foreign researchers are all assets that enable students to aim for international professional integration and enable the University of Orléans to be present and recognised well beyond our borders.
