Discover the wooded campus of Orléans-La Source and the University's regional sites.

A green and busy campus

The wooded campus of Orléans, spanning about a hundred hectares, is located 100km from Paris, in the capital of the Centre-Val de Loire region, at the heart of the Val de Loire, a territory listed in the UNESCO's World Heritage and famous for its castles.

With its lake, woods and green areas, it forms a true natural haven within the Orléans metropolitan area.

Fully aware of its privileged setting, the University of Orléans has made biodiversity and the preservation of natural spaces on its various campuses a strategic focus of its sustainable development policy.

Nearby sites deeply rooted in the Centre region

The University of Orléans has also developed in other sites accross the region with the installation of the university centers of Bourges, Chartres, Châteauroux, Issoudun, Blois and Tours-Fondettes.

These regional sites allow the University to strengthen its roots throughout the Centre region, while creating human-sized campuses close to the students and other users.
