The Training’s Objectives
he Master - Management des Systèmes d'Information (MSI) in Data Sciences and Strategy at the IAE Orléans - University School of Management aims to train consulting professionals in the fields of information systems and data sciences. The course provides cross-disciplinary knowledge of business management, as well as the technical and methodological skills needed to process and model management information for decision-making purposes, in a database, network and enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment.
The program lies at the intersection of Management, Business Administration and Computer Science, which is reflected both in the knowledge taught and in the research activities of the teacher-researchers involved in the program. This program has a significant advantage on two major levels: on the one hand, its relevance to the skills demanded on the job market, and on the other, its complete alignment with the digital transition of companies and organizations.
Work-study
The MSI Master’s program is offered entirely as a work-study program starting in the first year (M1), under a two-year apprenticeship contract.
With an average schedule of three weeks at a company and one week at the IAE, the work-study program allows students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies. It thus serves as a powerful tool for professional development and early entry into the job market by fostering long-term immersion in the professional world.
Target Audiance
The target audience for the MSI Master's program is students who hold a bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Management Control, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Marketing.
Ideal candidates are those who combine cross-disciplinary know-how in the fields of IT, information systems and data science, with solid managerial skills. The ability to understand and manage information technologies while having a strategic vision and the ability to make informed decisions has become essential.
