The University of Orléans undertakes a number of equality initiatives open to the entire university community (students and staff), and very often to society as a whole. The aim of these initiatives is to exchange ideas, raise awareness and provide information on equality issues.

 

Understanding and tackling sexist and sexual violence

For many years now, the University of Orléans has been committed to combating all forms of violence, particularly gender-based and sexual violence (GBV).

To this end, the University of Orléans' Equality and Diversity Mission is offering an interactive e-learning course with certification, available in French or English to all members of the university community, to develop your knowledge and, above all, your skills in the fight against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).

  • Mercredi 7 mai 2025 : Pièce de théâtre "À livre ouvert" de l'association étudiante Bath'Art abordant les thèmes des violences sexuelles et intrafamiliales (Au bouillon, 20h). Inscription gratuite : https://www.univ-orleans.fr/culture/agenda-actualites/livre-ouvert-stand 
  • Lundi 12 mai 2025 : Signature d'une nouvelle convention entre l'université et le Fonds pour l'Insertion des Personnes Handicapées de la Fonction Publique (FIPHFP) afin de poursuivre et renforcer les actions en faveur d'une inclusion professionnelle des personnes en situation de handicap.
  • Samedi 17 mai 2025 : L'université est partenaire de la 12eme marche pour l'égalité contre les LGBTphobies (14h, Campo Santo)
