Find all the important dates regarding equality and diversity at the UO. 


The University of Orléans deploys many actions for equality that are open to all the university community (students and staff members) and even to society as a whole. These actions aim at exchanging, raising awareness and informing on equality questions. 

2022-2023

  • Thursday 1 September 2022: Dissemination of the presentation of the University's Anti-Violence Unit within the colleges
  • Friday 2 September 2022: Information of the Anti-Violence Unit during the staff members’ return from summer holidays
  • Thursday 15 September 2022: Training of the Health Relay students on the fight against violence and the University’s measures
  • Thursday 22 September 2022: Information stand on the Anti-Violence Unit of the University during Happy Campus Day
  • Wednesday 28 September 2022 : Brochures on Gisèle Halimi realized by the students of Licence Gestion de la Protection Sociale (IUT Bourges)
  • October 2022: Start of the "Sans oui, c'est interdit ("Without yes, it is forbidden") campaign on the theme of consent
  • Monday 3 October: Raising awareness among student associations on the risks of ragging and violence during festive events
  • November 2022: Within the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, launch of the serious game “Sexism – Harassment, what is it?”
  • Thursday 10 November 2022: Compulsory training on equality and the fight against discriminations for the heads of colleges, the heads of laboratories and the service managers
  • From Monday 14 November to Friday 2 December 2022: Exhibition by the National Museum of Education  "LGBTI+ : Un peu d'histoire pour lutter contre les discriminations" ("LGBTI+: A bit of history to fight against discriminations") (University Library of Science)
  • Thursday 17 November 2022: DuoDay - A disabled person looking for an employment or in professional training, forms a professional duo with a staff member of the University
  • From Friday 18 November to Friday 2 December 2022: Discover the GO WOMEN exhibition on the fight against sexist and sexual violence (at the Bouillon)
  • Week of 21 November 2022: Deployment of leaflets on the functioning of the University's Anti-Violence Unit
  • Week of 21 November 2022: Display campaign against sexist and sexual violence
  • Week of 21 November 2022: Deployment of the ‘”Violentometer” tool
  • Monday 21 November 2022: Forum theatre sessions with students in Orléans to raise awareness on the fight against sexist and sexual violence
  • Tuesday 22 November 2022: The artist and photograph Amandine Leroy will come to present and discuss on the GO WOMEN exhibition (from 12am to 2pm at the Bouillon)
  • Tuesday 22 November 2022: Virtual reality workshop to raise awareness on sexist and sexual violence (from 9am to 6pm at the Bouillon). 15 minutes-long sequence.
  • Tuesday 22 November 2022: Forum theatre sessions with students in Bourges to raise awareness on the fight against sexist and sexual violence
  • Wednesday 23 November 2022: Forum theatre sessions with students in Chartres to raise awareness on the fight against sexist and sexual violence
  • Thursday 24 November 2022: Forum theatre sessions with students in Chateauroux and Issoudun to raise awareness on the fight against sexist and sexual violence
  • Friday 25 November 2022: Training open to all staff members of the University on the prevention and the fight against sexist and sexual violence
  • Monday 28 November 2022: Screening of the documentary movie "Sexe et consentement" ("Sex and Consent") by Blandine Grosjean and Delphine Dhilly with the testimonies of women between 20 and 65 years old (Indre IUT)
  • Tuesday 29 November 2022: Screening of the documentary "Briser le silence des amphis" ("Breaking the Silence of Lecture Halls") followed by a debate with the Vice-President of the Universty in charge of Equality and the France Victimes 45 Association (from 12am to 2pm at the Bouillon)
  • Tuesday 29 November 2022: Free screening of the film “The Magdalene Sisters” at the University’s Cultural Centre, “Le Bouillon”. Please note that the screening is free, however the number of seats is limited, thus a registration is necessary. Click here to register.
  • January 2023: Discover the exhibition by the National Museum of Education  entitled "LGBTI+ : Un peu d'histoire pour lutter contre les discriminations" ("LGBTI+: A bit of history to fight against discriminations") (University Library of Bourges)
  • March 2023: Discover the "Deconstructing received opinions on violence against women" ("Déconstruire les idées reçues sur les violences faites aux femmes") exhibition (University Library of Bourges)
  • Tuesday 14 March 2023: At the University’s Cultural Centre “Le Bouillon”, a dramatized reading on the theme of the rumour of Orléans “Dorphé aux Enfers” – with the presence of playwright Luc Tartar and director Eric Cénat. This performance questions the relationship between the individual and the group, the rejection and the attraction of the other. Free event
  • Wednesday 22 March 2023: Exhibitions, round tables and conferences at the Hôtel Dupanloup within the framework of the National Day Against Racism and Anti-Semitism defined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
