Important: Before any registration, if you are  a French-speaker, you must take the National test of French proficiency.

Your file will have to imperatively include a certfiication with a B2 minimum level in French.


Application for the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree

You are a holder or future holder of a foreign baccalaureate equivalent and you live abroad:

You must submit a preliminary application for admission - white file - to the cultural service of the French Embassy in your country before 15 December. To make sure that the training course you want is open to applications in 1st year of bachelor's degree, use the contact form.

For candidates residing in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France (Studying in France Centre), the application for prior admission to the first year of a Bachelor's degree is made exclusively online via the Etudes en France application between 1 October and 15 December (the date may be advanced in some countries). Some training courses are not open to applications in 1st year of bachelor's degree.

 

You are a holder of a foreign baccalaureate equivalent and you live in France:

You must submit a preliminary application for admission - green file - to the central registration office (Maison de l'étudiant - Students' House) before 15 December. To make sure that the training course you want is open to applications in 1st year of bachelor's degree, use the contact form.

 

You are a holder or future holder of a French baccalaureate obtained abroad:

You can submit your application online on the Parcoursup website between January and March.

 

You are a refugee, stateless or you benefit from subsidiary protection by the OFPRA ?

You are exempted from the Application for Prior Admission process (DAP). You can request an application file via email at defi.scol@univ-orleans.fr before 15 June.

Application for the 1st year of a BUT (University Bachelor of Technology)

You wish to register in the 1st year of a BUT:

You must submit your application online on the Parcoursup website between January and March.

For candidates residing in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France, you must apply online via the Etudes en France application before 31 December (the date may be earlier in some countries).

Application for the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree

You wish to register for the 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree:

Caution: it is recommended to have successfully completed at least 3 years of higher education abroad in order to apply for admission to the 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree in France through this procedure.
 

For candidates living in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France, the application for admission to the second or third year of a Bachelor's degree must be submitted exclusively online via the Etudes en France app between 1 October and 31 December (the date may be earlier in some countries).

For candidates from other countries or already living in France, an application file will be sent upon request between 1 February and 15 March: File request form


The request must specify the candidate's level and course of study applied for, his or her nationality, his or her place of residence and his or her last diploma obtained, specifying the place of graduation.
The deadline for submitting applications in each College (UFR) is 31 March.

Application for the 2nd or 3rd year of a BUT, a Professional degree or for the 2nd year of a Master's degree

For applicants living in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France:

You must apply exclusively via the Etudes en France app betweeen 1 October and 31 December (the date may be earlier in some countries).

If you do not live in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France:

You wish to register in the 2nd or 3rd year of a BUT, in a Professional degree or in a 2nd year of a Master's degree:

If you do not live in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France, you can submit your application via the Internet on the e-Candidat website from February to June depending on the opening dates of the application campaigns.

You wish to register in a 1st year of a Master's degree:

If you do not live in a country with a Centre pour les Etudes en France, you can submit your request via Internet on the MonMaster website, between March and April.

Registration Procedure 2023-2024

Please note that the Univbersity of Orléans does not deliver any late arrival certificate.

Students who will study in UO's remote locations (Bourges, Chartres, Châteauroux, Issoudun) must download the registration file below and send it by e-mail to the registrar's office of their academic division (see the list here). The students will have to go to their registrar's office upon their arrival to complete their registration (payment, information).

Students who will study in Orléans, upon arrival, must go to the welcome desk, between 24 August 2023 and 15 September, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

To prepare your registration, and if you have obtained your visa, you must:

  • Complete it and enclose it with the supporting documents before submitting your form.

The welcome desk will take care of checking the completion of your file and will send it to your administration when you arrive on campus.

  • Once your supporting documents are accepted and you have paid the registration fees, you must activate your Digital Work Environment (ENT) in order to download your certificate of school attendance and get all the useful information on the organisation of your studies.
